According to the 2013 World Health Organization report, 74 polio cases have been reported in Pakistan. However, 51 (69%) of the polio confirmed cases are from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).  Polio Teams of Health Department are working for the ERADICATION  of Polio.

All the Heads of Public and Private schools in District Multan are directed by the Deputy Commissioner & Chief Executive Officer(DEA) Multan to cooperate with the Polio Teams of Health Department, Multan as the National Immunization Days are being celebrated from 18-09-2017 to 22-09-2017.
